We have been participated in the 13th International Committee
on GNSS @ Xi’an, China.

The International Committee on Global Navigation Satellite Systems (ICG), established under the umbrella of the United Nations, promotes voluntary cooperation on matters of mutual interest related to civil satellite-based positioning, navigation, timing, and value-added services.
ICG-13 has been held at the ancient capital of China, Xi’an. It is very much impressive that Interoperability of Augmentation services such as Precise Point Positioning Service, or Early Warning Service has been discussed.

SPAC has been actively involved mainly in “Application Sub-Working Group” of Working Group – Enhancement of GNSS Performance, New Services and Capabilities (Working Group B), to make feedback to GNSS providers from the user point of views. We made a presentation of the following with other co-chair from the China.

 ” Status Report on GNSS Application Catalogues User Requirement and User Questionnaire ”

We explained the aim of the Questionnaire and the strategy of analysis of the responses and ask members to make their contact points and support.

The detail of the outcome of the 13th ICG will be followed at the coming SPAC Seminar planned March 2019. Please join it!

Xi’an was an ancient capital of China, and

been flourished as a center of cultural
